TV Room Mini Update

A while back I decided our upstairs tv room needed a quick makeover. My first idea was to add some color! Our sofa had a great tobacco color but the accent was a deep red, almost burgundy pattern.

After stalking the fabric at JoAnn's for awhile I decided on a aqua/gray-brown design.

My next idea was to "recover" the pillows. It was easy using a quilting needle.

After torturing my fingers with a straight needle and even gluing the edges I tried curved quilting needle! Works perfectly. Two more cushions after this one. photo 335457_10150311182798213_489497917_o.jpg

Looking so much better! I live these blues. photo 339236_10150311184963213_1931718742_o.jpg

With new movie style wall accessories and new gaming chairs, it was done.

Favorite Chair Makeover

The second of a pair of chairs we bought one of the many many many times we've made over our family room. (Hangs ahead in shame.) This one is going up into our TV room.

Sneak peak.

The fabric is a gray-aqua from JoAnn's. I can't remember the brand. sorry!

Before. Lovely but dated and abused.

Fabric with throw pillow. I'm going for old theater with retro look for the room.

Pinning and glueing as I go. It already looks really good.

Pin pin pin. Getting there.

Placing and cutting the back section.

I put the trim over the wood for a fun look.

Appearing now in our TV/Media room.
